WHAT IS OSTEOARTHRITIS AND IT'S CAUSES

Osteoarthritis is the disease in which person suffers with weak bones. It is most common disease observed in females rather than males.

CAUSES OF OSTEOARHRITIS:

The main cause of osteoarthritis studies Las Vegas is low level of calcium that would ultimately weak bones of a person.

Most common females are suffering with osteoarthritis than males. It is observed that many females' hip bones easily got fractured. The cases data told us there is lot of women who slip in washrooms and their hip bone easily got fractured.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OSTEOARTHRISTIS AND OSTEOPOROSIS:

Osteoporosis is most often confused with osteoarthritis since often people have both. While OA is a degeneration of a joint, osteoporosis is the loss of BONE mass which causes risk of fractures, even spontaneously. Osteoporosis is PAINLESS and if you indeed have pain, let's say in your back, you could have both conditions. In the spine, it is called degenerative disc disease and it is part of the arthritic process. Osteoporosis on the other hand (and while you have degenerative disc disease) can affect your bone quality.

If you learn you have osteopenia, you have options. Some may need treatment, some don't. Calcium and vitamin D supplements can be provided to those who lack enough calcium in the diet.

Osteoporosis is a bone disease in which the amount and quality of the bone is reduced, leading to fractures (broken bones). Osteoporosis produces no pain or other symptoms unless a fracture has occurred. A person can have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis at the same time.

Both diseases may cause pain and limit mobility, but the cause of this pain and the way it is treated are quite different. An accurate diagnosis of your pain is very important. With an accurate diagnosis, you will be better able to develop a pain management program that works for you.

The prefix “osteo” (which means “bone”) is the only thing that osteoporosis and osteoarthritis have in common.

Some factors that can contribute to the development of osteoarthritis include family history, physical inactivity, excess weight and overuse or injury of joints.
