Clinical Trials

From the day when medical science has developed the inventions and the ways of treatment, medication, and all the things that help the people for the betterment of their life to the till clinical trials are an integral part of that invention. From the day when anyone in the medical field generate an idea or try to explore nature to get the benefits for the people struggling with a specific living condition to the day when the drug is approved and allowed to market only clinical trials is the part that research team conducts to see the outcomes of their idea or the exploration.

Every clinical trial needs to be passed on through the four phases and each and every phase is important because if the drug is clear the phase 1 and has any severe or life-threatening side effects then not no research can go into the next phase or be approved to use on the public.

How does the clinical trial have been done?

A clinical trial has four phases with two main objectives.

1)      Check that is the drug is safe and does not harm or cause any life-threatening situation.

2)       Find out the most benefits and positive outcomes from the drug

In the first phase, the safety of the drug is the main concern and the amount of treatment or drug is tested on a small group of people. While in the second phase safety is remains constant but this time the benefits of the drug are also observed in phase II the number of participants is increasing. Phase III of a clinical trial is just different in a way that now the volunteers and participants are taken from the different societies because the objective in phase III is to evaluate the efficacy of the drug people suffering from some health issue but living in a different set of environments can have same benefits while the safety of the drug or treatment also check-in phase III.

What are the most important elements in clinical trials?

Safety of the volunteers in the clinical trial is the topmost priority of the research because participants in the trials are the individuals that first time receive the drug or treatment on their body and it is not before tested that how it can react on human beings. The researchers make sure that they give high standard medical services to the volunteers and before clinical trials the researcher tries to know that how they react.
